When he isn't busy touring the globe with his various bands,
Will performs a one-man show called Global Village Musical
Story Theater. This all-ages performance combines Will's original
mask art with mythopoetic storytelling and live music played on
an amazing arsenal of indigenous instruments from around the world.
Will has performed over one hundred Global Village concerts
throughout his home state of Arizona as well as nationally, in
a variety of venues from art galleries, public and private schools,
museums, theaters and concert halls, to senior centers, hospitals,
adult and juvenile correctional facilities, parks, summer fine
arts camps and outdoor festivals. Global Village is often
used as a kick-off or culminating event for a more in-depth Artist-in-Residence
program (see EDUCATION page). Will
draws inspiration for his original material from a broadly multicultural
palette of folkloric traditions, and "'edutains" with positive
themes of cooperative learning, personal growth, environmental
consciousness, and community harmony.
